In other words, if I get a better camera, will I take better pictures.?


After an absolute age, I've loaded up some new pictures. Not all of them fit what I plan to do in the future, but I want to start to create a portfolio of female portraits.

Working on my art is a little frustrating, because I get the urge from time to time, but don't always have someone to photograph. it's a case of finding tiem, subjects and motivation.
I was hoping to have a new camera by Easter- but other things have affected my financial situation and hopefully it should happen sometime in June.

But will it really make everythng better. Will my photography be better and easier to do becasue I ahve a digital SLR. I'm trying not to convince myself it will be. My film SLr is a good tool and even if I upgrade, the problem with photography is there is always more to have- lenses, flashes, studio equipment. I want to keep a lid on that and focus on the art.
